Studio NEWHAUS is a place where art and everyday life meet.

Rooted in the landscapes of Arizona and New Mexico, my watercolor paintings are inspired by the quiet moments that often go unnoticed—the changing desert light, the resilience of native blooms, wide-open skies, and the feeling of coming home after a long day.

Watercolor invites me to slow down. It asks for patience, presence, and a willingness to embrace the unexpected. Each painting becomes a conversation between intention and spontaneity, where soft washes, layered color, and organic movement reveal something new with every brushstroke.

Before I ever picked up a paintbrush professionally, I built a career helping people find home through real estate. Along the way, I realized that home is more than an address. It's the feeling of belonging, of gathering with the people you love, of finding peace in the spaces you create.
